Day 1 :

Arrival

Arrival in Beijing. After checking into your hotel, overnight in Beijing.

Day 2 :

Beijing I

In the morning, your guide will pick you up from the hotel and give you a short pre-tour briefing. Here starts your exciting trip as your guide takes you for a walk across Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Tiananmen is revered in the hearts of the Chinese people. It is also the entrance to the marvelous Forbidden City, your next stop. The gorgeous imperial architecture and numerous ancient art treasures show the luxurious imperial lives. Followed next will be a visit to the Temple of Heaven, another royal palace where emperors worshipped heaven for good blessings. In the evening, you will enjoy a vivid Red Theater Chinese Kung Fu Show. Overnight in Beijing.

Day 3 :

Beijing II

You will be picked up by our guide and taken to visit the grand Badaling Great Wall and a jade factory. Although it has lost its original function as a military defense system, the winding wall and beacon towers make it a popular travel destination to appreciate the magnificent scenery and learn about Chinese ancient civilization. Afterwards you will be taken to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. The Sacred Way is the first scenic spot in the Ming Tomb scenic area. It consists of the stone memorial archway, the red gate, the stele pavilion, the stone statues and the Dragon and Phoenix Gate. You will stroll along the Sacred Way and then to the Ming Tomb, where 13 Ming-dynasty emperors were buried. On the way back to town, you will pass the magnificent Bird’s Nest Stadium in the Olympic Park. Overnight in Beijing.

Day 4 :

Beijing-Xi’an

Make full use of this morning to travel around the royal Summer Palace garden and a pearl store, then enjoy the old Beijing culture and local customs by visiting narrow alleys, called Hutongs. The Summer Palace is a wonderful natural and cultural site for people to learn about the rich Chinese culture. Kunming Lake, hills and delicate buildings make the Summer Palace a picturesque wonderland. During the Hutong excursion, you may take a special rickshaw ride through various Hutongs and enjoy the prosperous street view with dazzling goods on sale. By visiting a local family, you will get a further understanding of traditional Beijing characteristics. Followed next will be your transfer to another ancient city, Xian. There, the local guide will welcome you and escort you to the hotel.

Day 5 :

Xian

Your visit today will start from the World’s Eighth Wonder, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum and a pottery-making factory. You will see the life-size terracotta soldiers and horses, ancient weapons and chariots made 2000 years ago. After getting back from the fantasy of the awesome terracotta army, you will explore other historical sites, including the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Jianfu Temple & Xian Museum. For the evening delight, the splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show as well as the local specialty Dumpling Dinner will surely give you great enjoyment.

Day 6 :

Departure

The whole morning will be devoted to the City Wall and Shaanxi History Museum. This is the end of your tour. You will then be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
