Treasure of Nature & Heritage : 14N/15D

Day 01    Trivandrum
Arrive Trivandrum. Meeting on assistance and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon visit the Padmanabhaswamy temple, Sree Chitra Art Gallery and Napier Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02     Allepey
Leave for Quilon by road. On arrival board the houseboat and set sail for Allepey by boat, enjoying your cruise through the backwaters. Your car will pick you from Allepey and check-in to your backwater resort.  Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03    Kochi
After breakfast drive to Kochi.  Visit the Jewish synagogue, Dutch Palace, St Francis’ Church and the spice market. In the afternoon take a harbour cruise to see some of the nearby islands and the legendary Chinese fishing nets.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04    Thrissur
Morning excursion to Cheruthuruthy to visit Kathakali and Mohiniattam dance centre. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the Cheruthuruthy River Retreat a heritage hotel.

Day 05    Kozhikode (Calicut)
Morning sightseeing of Thrissur. Proceed towards Kozhikode. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing to Traditional wooden ship building yard, Kappad beach. Evening free for shopping. Calicut is famous for its sweetmeats. Visit to the weavers colony optional.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06    Kadavu
Morning sightseeing of Calicut by boat. Leave for Kadavu by road.  Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening watch a cultural presentation at the resort. Overnight at Kadavu.

Day 07    Nagarhole
Morning boat ride on the river Chaliyar. Proceed to Nagarhole. Stay at the Kabini River Lodge.  Today you can witness the wildlife by going thru a motor boat ride.  If you are lucky, you can visit  / click photographs of group of elephants crossing the River. The wildlife is spread in three states (Mudumalai – Tamilnadu,  Wayanad – Kerala and Bandipur – Karnataka).  Overnight at the Kabini.

Day 08    Nagarhole
In the morning go on a Coracle Ride on Kabini river. The Coracle is a round native boat. In the afternoon go on a wildlife tour in the National park in jeeps / vans.  One can truly enjoy their stay at Kabini and breathe in fresh air. Overnight at Kabini.

Day 09    Mysore
Leave for Mysore by road. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Mysore visiting the Maharaja’s places of interest include the Maharaja’s palace- a giant indo- Saracen wedding cake of a building – the colourful vegetable and flower markets, and Chamundi hill noted for its Nandi temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10    Mysore
Full day excursion to Somnathpur and Srirangapattana. visit the ruins of Tipu Sultan’s capital at Srirangapatna, and somnathpur, whose star-shaped kesava temple is considered to be one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11    Coorg
Leave for Coorg by road. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of the city. You will be mesmerised by the scenic beauty.  Proceed for the plantation visit. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12    Coorg
Day at leisure at Coorg. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13    Chikmagalur
After breakfast drive to Chikmagalur. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Visit the temples at Belur and Halebid, which are renowned for their fine sculptures.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14    Bangalore
Drive to Shravanabelagola.  Visit the Jain temple a monolithic statue of 17 feet high.  In the afternoon leave for Bangalore. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15   Departure Transfer
Morning sightseeing of Bangalore. Places of interest- Lalbagh, Cubbon Park, Vidhan Soudha.  Later transfer to the international airport to connect flight for onward journey.

Day 01 Trivandrum
