Italy – 8 Days / 7 Nights

Day 1 :
Rome
You will transfer from the airport to Rome city center where you will check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day can be spent as free time for exploration of the city at your leisure, or just sit back and relax from the flight.

Day 2 :
Rome
A buffet style breakfast is provided at your Hotel. You will be picked up at your hotel at about 9-00 a.m. Guests will enjoy a 3-hour walking tour with an English speaking guide to discover Rome. The tour will start from Largo di Torre Argentina which is the famous square area in Rome featuring the four Republican temples. From there, the tour continues to Piazza Farnese with its beautiful Renaissance buildings designed by famed architects. Piazza Navona comes next with a visit to the magnificent Fountain of the Four Rivers (Fontana Dei Quattro Fiume). Next comes a memorable visit to the historic,Pantheon. After leaving the Pantheon, the tour continues on to the breathtaking Trevi Fountain, which is the largest and most famous Baroque fountain in all of Italy. The tour then wraps up on this first full day at the memorable Spanish Steps. As the day winds down, you are free to explore on your own or take part to another guided tour to visit the Ancient Rome landmarks such as the Colosseum or the Vatican with its famous museum and St. Peter’s Square. Dinner on your own and overnight stay in your Hotel.

Day 3 :
Rome – Naples – Pompeii – Sorrento
A varied buffet breakfast will be provided at the hotel. Guests will be picked up at 7-00am by coach and meet with their multilingual tour leader. Once in Naples, a local guide will take you for a memorable walking tour where you will see the Piazza del Plebiscito, which is one of the largest squares in Naples. Naples is also the third largest municipality in the country of Italy, and one of the oldest inhabited cities. From Naples, you will continue on to the world famous Pompeii. While there you will enjoy a short visit to a factory that specializes in coral and cameos. While in this area, guests will enjoy lunch in an authentic restaurant that features foods indicative of this region. Once lunch has concluded, the tour proceeds to Sorrento. This magnificent town on the Sorrentine Peninsula offers spectacular views of Vesuvius, the Isle of Capri and even Naples. It is also known the world over for its orange, lemon and olive trees. Enjoy a pleasant dinner before retiring for the night in Sorrento.

Day 4 :
Sorrento – Capri – Sorrento
A buffet breakfast is served at the hotel. Guests will depart at 9 Am to the open-top double-decker bus tour it will give an amazing view of the city. At this tour, you’ll see beautiful attractions of Sorrento during your Shore Excursion. Here you get an opportunity to know about the rich culture and history of the Sorrento Peninsula. The next stop on the tour, weather permitting, will be the Piazza Tasso. This place is the central living room of the town and it has admirable surrounding. Arrive at this place and take a walk around the Sorrento. Here you see market stalls, designer shops, and restaurants. You’ll also see the large statue of S. Antonio Abbate, baroque church, and museum nearby. At this place, you experience the true city life and enjoy a lot. After that, you will b move to see Sorrento Musical Theater Show. Here you spend your evening to see traditional Italian dances, songs, and stories. At the end of the day its time to relax during dinner and enjoy your last night at your Sorrento hotel.

Day 5 :
Sorrento – Positano
An American buffet breakfast is provided at the hotel with a departure of 9-30 a.m. to Positano. You will travel via the gorgeous Amalfi Coast Drive. The Rolling Stones wrote the classic, “Midnight Rambler” in this charming fishing village. After checking in at the local hotel, you can explore the town at your leisure. Dinner is not included on this evening.

Day 6 :
Positano – Pompeii
American style buffet breakfast will be enjoyed in the hotel. Guests will have ample free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal village and all that surrounds it, doing whatever they choose. You may choose to take a local bus and visit Ravello, which is known for its scenic beauty. After that, you will move to enjoy the best of Pompeii in this half-day excursion. You’ll explore the Roman city that was buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD – know the history, culture, and ancient life. (Optional activities not included). Dinner on your own and overnight will be spent at your Positano hotel.

Day 7 :
Positano – Pompeii – Rome
As usual, breakfast will be served in the hotel with the morning spent at your own leisure in Positano or its surrounding areas. After that, we head to explore the ancient Roman city and the volcano which destroyed it. You’ll see the whole extent of the southern part of the volcano and during days with good visibility. Perhaps you may like to shop for souvenirs in the small artisan shops and boutiques in some Roman towns. Early in the afternoon, the group will meet at the hotel and transfer to Pompeii. Here you will join another group and head back to Rome. The estimated time of arrival in Rome is 9.00 p.m. depending on traffic. Overnight will be spent in the hotel in Rome city center. Dinner is not included.

Day 8 :
Rome
After breakfast at your hotel, end of our services.

Transportation by Deluxe motor coach as per itinerary.
Accommodation in 4 Star Hotels centrally located in Rome.
Daily Buffet Breakfast.
2 Dinners as per itinerary.
Full Day excursion to Pompeii.
Full Day excursion to Capri.
Transfer from Sorrento to Positano.
Transfer from Positano to Pompeii.
Return to Rome by bus.
Panoramic Visits as per itinerary.
