Itinerary :
Day 1: Arrival to Zagreb airport, overnight at the hotel in Zagreb area.
ZAGREB: the capital town of Croatia with numerous possibilities for sightseeing including: the Cathedral, St. Mark’s Church, St. Katarina’s Church, Mirogoj cemetery, old Upper Town, open-air market, Stone Gate etc.
Day 2 : Drive from Zagreb to Plitvice, overnight at the hotel in Plitvice area.
PLITVICE LAKES: In 1979. Plitvice Lakes were entered into the UNESCO Register of World Natural Heritage. National Park consists of 16 crystal-blue lakes cascading into 92 spectacular waterfalls.
Day 3 : Drive from Plitvice to Opatija, overnight at the hotel in Opatija area.
OPATIJA: once the resort of choice for European royalty with beautiful promenade by the sea. Surrounded by luxuriant evergreen vegetation there are hidden numerous hotels – secession buildings from 19th century.
Day 4 : Day at leisure, overnight at the hotel in Opatija area.
Day 5 : Drive from Opatija to Zadar, overnight at the hotel in Zadar area.
ZADAR: The oldest Slavic city on the adriatic Coast with many historical monuments such as Roman Forum, St. Donat’s Church.
Day 6 : Drive from Zadar to Trogir, overnight at the hotel in Trogir area.
TROGIR: a world cultural heritage listed at UNESCO, picturesque medeival town.
Day 7 : Day at leisure, overnight at the hotel in Trogir area.
Day 8 : Drive from Trogir to Dubrovnik, overnight at the hotel in Dubrovnik area.
DUBROVNIK: «Those who seek paradise on earth, should come to Dubrovnik» George Bernard Shaw once wrote. The huge walls are still intact and inside the churches, monasteries, palaces, wide marble paved squares unchanged for centuries.
