Enchanting Kerala : 6N/7D

Day01Kochi
On arrival at Kochi, the commercial capital of Kerala, you will be met by our representative and assisted to the Hotel.
Evening witness Kathakali Dance Performance.  Overnight at Kochi.

Day 02 Kochi
Explore the city of Kochi.  In the noon proceed for sight seeing of Kochi visiting St. Mary’s Cathedral, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church Dutch Palace, Chinese fishing nets.

Day 03  Mararikulam
Alappuzha beach is quite a popular tourist spot, known to provide relaxation in the district of Alappuzha (Alleppey). The pier, which extends into the sea here, is around 140 years old. Blessed with nature’s green beauties such as lagoons, vast lakes and numerous fresh water rivers, Alappuzha is a natural wonderland of Kerala state.

The Alappuzha (Alleppey) beach is spectacular. At one end are the dense palm groves that are so characteristic of Kerala’s landscape. It has a long sandy beach. For the entertainment of visitors there is a Vijaya Beach Park and an old lighthouse nearby.

Drive to Mararikulam, which is reputed as one of the most picturesque village that dot the coastline.  Day free to relax or engage yourself in various activities like village visit, trekking, spice tour visit, etc.Overnight at Mararikulam.

Day 04  Mararikulam
Spend some time on the Marari beach and experience the various moods of the sea.

Day 05  Kumarakom
Early morning drive to Kumarakom and upon arrival experience the fascinating natural beauty of this destination. Take a cruise on the backwaters in traditional country canoes called “vanjis” to see the agricultural activities of the local people living on the back waters.Overnight in a Backwater Resort.

Day 06 Kumarakom
After breakfast  Take a trip to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, something you shouldn’t miss.   This sanctuary is rich with a number of noteworthy species include the Dater or Snake Bird, Little Cormorant, Night Heroin, Golden- backed woodpecker, Crow Pheasant, White Breasted Water Hen and Tree Pie etc.   The best time for this is between November and March, when a flock of migratory birds from Siberia make it their winter home. At the fourteen-acre bird sanctuary one can glimpse many a rare bird – some of which, sadly, may not be around forever. Day is free to pursue any activity that interests you the most. Or have a Ayurvedic massage.Overnight at Backwater resort.

Day 07  Kochi
Wake up in the morning for one of the grandest shows on earth, the sunrise. In the mornings, the lake is calm and misty inviting the deepest recesses of your soul.  After breakfast at your hotel, check-out and Transfer to the Airport.
